"I wanted someone who could build me a custom very heavy duty off road trailer. The guy I had bought trailers from for over 20 years wasn’t all that interested, so I called the team at Carasel Seven Hills. When I showed them my design, they were really excited by the challenge, made some great design and spec suggestions which were incorporated in the final build. The end result was nothing short of awesome! About as bullet proof as you can get. It’s crossed the Simpson already and about to head up to The Cape. Full credit to the Carasel team for great design ideas from Carasels owner, Katie and for really practical build and spec ideas from Operations Manager, Ben. Carasel liked it so much they are now selling this trailer under the Bushmaster brand. Very easy team to work with, not expensive, use all Australian made materials and components wherever possible, and have a real passion for what they do. I always thought of Carasel as being just in the towbar business, but their skills go much further than that. Highly recommended."

How often should I service my trailer?

We recommend servicing your trailer every 12 months or 10,000km – whichever comes first. If you tow regularly, carry heavy loads, or travel long distances, more frequent servicing may be required.

What’s included in a standard trailer service?

Our standard service covers all the essentials to keep your trailer safe and reliable on the road. We’ll check the springs, bushes and axles, make sure the brakes are working properly, grease all moving parts, and ensure the lights and wiring are in top condition. We’ll also inspect your tyres and replace the wheel bearings where needed, so you can tow with confidence.

How long does a trailer service take?

A standard service generally takes 1.5 – 3 hours, depending on trailer size, condition, and any repairs required.

Do you service all trailer types?

Yes – we service box trailers, camper trailers, car carriers, boat trailers, enclosed trailers, custom builds, and more.

Can you repair my trailer if you find issues during the service?

Yes – we carry most common trailer parts in stock. If additional work is required, we’ll always contact you with a quote before proceeding.

Do you offer safety certificates or compliance checks?

No – But we can recommend trusted service providers in your area.

How much does a trailer service cost?

Pricing depends on trailer size and requirements. Standard services start from $366. Contact us for an exact quote.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes – bookings are required. We recommend scheduling at least 1–2 weeks in advance, especially during peak times.

What if I need urgent repairs?

If your trailer is unsafe or unroadworthy, call us straight away. We’ll do our best to prioritise urgent jobs.

Do you only service Carasel trailers?

No – we service all makes and models of trailers, not just Carasel builds.

Can you service my trailer if I use it for business?

Yes – we work with fleets and commercial operators. We can even set up regular service schedules to keep your trailers compliant and on the road.

Do you check brakes on boat trailers?

Yes – boat trailers require special attention as water exposure can affect brakes and bearings. We’ll check your brake pads, rotors, callipers, and cables, and replace/adjust as needed.

Can you upgrade my trailer during a service?

Yes – if you’re looking to add features like electric brakes, jockey wheels, toolboxes, cages, or upgraded suspension, let us know at booking and we can include this in the service.

Do you stock trailer parts?

Yes – we carry a wide range of parts including bearings, hubs, lights, brakes, tyres, couplings, suspension, and electrical components.

My trailer is overloaded or unevenly wearing tyres – can you fix this?

Yes – we’ll check axle alignment, suspension, and tyre load ratings to identify the cause of wear and suggest the right fix.

Can you rewire my trailer if the lights don’t work?

Absolutely – our technicians can diagnose electrical issues, replace wiring looms, install new lights, or upgrade you to LED systems.

Will you notify me before replacing parts?

Yes – we’ll always contact you before carrying out additional repairs or replacing major components. No surprises on your invoice.

Do you offer a warranty on servicing?

Yes – all our workmanship is backed by a warranty, and new parts fitted come with their manufacturer’s warranty.

Can you prepare my trailer for rego inspection?
